My name is Britni, and I’m the lead designer and owner of Two Stems of Joy. TSOJ grew out of a floral design hobby that began in 2015 when I was looking for a creative outlet from my work as a junior architect in Boston. Working on a computer all day was tough for this tactile, hands-on designer, so I started experimenting with the flower leftovers from our photo shoots at work and documented my progress in a blog.

I jumped into the world of wedding florals when my sweet friends began asking me to do their wedding flowers, and I haven’t looked back since! It didn’t take long for floral design to become one of my greatest passions, and I’m excited & humbled to have so many people continually supporting me in this journey!

A little about me: I grew up in Montana and moved to Boston to work with historic homes after finishing architecture school. I love swing dancing, kayaking, lemon flavored desserts, and – of course – flowers. I enjoy experimenting with texture and color palates in my floral design work, and I love how flowers spark joy and lend beauty wherever they’re found.
